New Frontiers in Basic Cardiovascular Research 2024

The tradition of these meetings has endured for more than 25 years. It began in 1994 as a bilateral gathering between Czechoslovakia and France, but later expanded to include other new EU countries. The meetings are held biennially and rotate among the V4 countries and France (e.g., Prague 1994, Smolenice 1996, Strasbourg 1998, Mariánské Lázně 2000, Smolenice 2002, Montpellier 2004, Debrecen 2006, Krakow 2008, Toulouse 2010, Hradec Králové 2012, Smolenice 2014, Paris 2016, Prague 2018, and Bratislava 2022).

These meetings serve as a unique platform for the exchange of scientific ideas, fostering collaboration among researchers from these countries. Participants primarily come from V4 countries, other new EU countries, and France, with the aim of enhancing communication and mutual collaboration, thereby expediting scientific progress in cardiovascular research.

We are delighted to announce that the 15th New Frontiers meeting will be hosted this year in Sète, and we extend a warm invitation to you to participate in this enriching scientific event.

The meeting will offer an excellent opportunity for young researchers and students to present their projects and findings, engaging with established investigators. It will include both oral and poster sessions, providing a platform for academic exchange. Our commitment is not only to curate an appealing scientific program but also to organize enjoyable social events.
